Jaymar Roofing Contractors is located on the Northshore of the greater New Orleans area. Therefore, we work with clients throughout Louisiana and Mississippi, on commercial roofing projects ranging from small commercial buildings to large roofing projects.
Jay Albert has been in business for over 45 years and is fully licensed and certified in commercial roofing services including metal roof coatings, modified bit, TPO and EPDM roofing. Our roofing products range from acrylic elastomeric and urethanes to silicone. Jaymar Roofing expertly matches the right roof coating with our customer’s roofing needs. All of our mechanics have been factory trained by the manufacturers for our roofing products.

Jay's Story
My name is Jules Albert III but most people know me as Jay. My father was a General Contractor for 35 years and I was raised in this business. From a very early age I was going with my dad to job sites, watching and asking questions. My dad would pay me to help clean up job sites and as I got older, I had more skilled jobs.
In the 1970s I studied construction management which was an early program in colleges then. After college I returned to the family business and worked as a carpenter and eventually as the construction manager and superintendent. At our height we were building 30-35 houses a year and developing a subdivision in Kenner, LA.
In 1976, I started my own company and built custom houses while still working with the family business. By 1982, my dad retired, and I invested full time into my own construction company and was able to build my first Savings & Loan / Bank. I continued to build residential homes both new and remodeling.
I learned from all of the wonderful tradesmen that worked for my dad as I had an inquisitive mind, wanting to know how things went together and worked.
